University of Colorado in boulder or San Francisco state university? ?

I want to study photojournalism, environmental studies, and overall recieve a college education for the experience. I like both schools and their cities/climate. I can't decide! Colorado university is a bit more expensive but so is the housing in San Fran.

If you want to study photojournalism and environmental studies, I'd have to say Colorado would be your best bet. I mean, you'd be right smack dab in the middle of the Rocky Mountains! Good luck, whatever you decide. In the meantime, take a look at a Boulder hiking trail...

Boulder is a small city Denver with a big reputation for its arts. San Francisco State does not have much of a reputation and is not as good as University of Colorado which would be comparable to the UC university system in California. Attending S.F. State would mean you have to pay a higher rent in San Francisco and school is not located in a very interesting area. I would go to Colorado if I have a choice and I am much older than a college student so my perspective is one of an experienced older adult.

Most of the people in Colorado are more likely to be familiar with CU. But..you know...we can't really help you.

In fact, I doubt that anyone in SF is going to be familiar with both schools, either.
