What does the expression "You were born with your foot in your mouth" mean?
I heard it said in a movie and I was just wondering what it means exactly.

Are you sure you heard the expression correctly? It sounds like two sayings mixed together. If you "put your foot in your mouth", then you've said something wrong or embarassing. If you are "born with a silver spoon in your mouth", then you are born into a wealthy family (and usually means you're spoiled).

I someone said to you, "That beautiful and wealthy girl want to know if you like her."
If you answered, "Tell her I'll date her IF we go dutch."
Now THAT is putting your foot in your mouth.
In other words, responding in an out-of-sorts manner that is really dumb.
