Both of my bathroom sinks turn on by themselves?? Lights too.?
I have 2 bathrooms in my home. One upstairs and one downstairs. My bathroom sink downstairs turns on by itself all the time right after we turn it off. It turns back on. Last night, I was watching TV and my 1 year old was playing on the floor. I heard the sink turn on in the bathroom so I looked and saw it was on so I turned it off. The light downstairs has also been turned on after I turned it off. I hear footsteps all the time..I haven't seen anything though thank goodness! Any ideas? or is it all in my head?

Sounds familiar.
About 10 years ago my family and I were living in this rental in the valley. Besides a bunch of random things happening there were a couple incidence that freaked my whole family out.
One random day I came home from work (I was 18) my dad was giving my brother a hard time about peeling each and every single banana and leaving it on the table. I walked in on him swearing up and down that it wasn't him so of course my dad turns to me and starts giving me a hard time about why I peeled all 5 banana's and left them on the table. Of course I swore it wasn't me and my dad believed because he was the last person to leave the house and the first person to return so no one was home in between and he even said they were all fine before he left. (see, random but weird)
Another time everyone was in the living room...my bedroom's door faces the living room; so if I open my door I see the living room tv and couches etc. So everyone was watching TV in the living room and I was on the computer when I heard my mom yell out "Aren't you done!?" I ignored cause I didn't know she was talking to me...until a few seconds later she said "Shut the door at least!!" so when she said that I thought to myself..."Who is she talking to? Everyones watching TV"
So I opened the door and saw everyone sitting there watching this movie they were all into. I walked out into the living room to ask my mom who she was talking to. The second she saw me she turned pale and got off the couch quickly and asked my dad to go to the bathroom and see who was there. Everyone heard the bathroom faucet turn on and the water kept getting stronger and stronger. They thought it was me and I thought it was one of them. My dad came back and said both handles were turned all the way but the water was soooo hot the bathroom had filled with steam.
As we all ran to the bathroom to see the steam the kitchen faucet turned on! My dad got mad and turned that off while cussing at whoever/whatever was playing around.

Hebrews 9:27 declares, “Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” That is what happens to a person’s soul-spirit after death—judgment. The result of this judgment is heaven for the believer (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23) and hell for the unbeliever (Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:22-24). There is no in-between. There is no possibility of remaining on earth in spirit form as a “ghost.” If there are such things as ghosts, according to the Bible, they absolutely cannot be the disembodied spirits of deceased human beings nor can reincarnation occur.
Demons are related to fallen angels, angels who rebelled against God. Demons are evil, deceptive, and destructive. According to 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as “angels of light” and as “servants of righteousness.” Appearing as a “ghost” and impersonating a deceased human being definitely is a disguise that demons use as well as other things like aliens wolves, lights, orbs etc. Please dont be tricked. Trust nothing but Christ. Don't listen to the peoples methods or advice who are sensitives, mediums, or hunters. They will make more demons come.
Demons come to where abuse is in many cases.
Use this bellow carefully.
1. Play Christian music.
2. Say "get out" in Jesus name in each room- (Christians only) Warning.
3. Throw away Ouija boards.
4. Dont consult mediums or talk to spirits it will make it worse.
5. God helps ne one who asks - you may ask God for help.
If you have tried witchcraft/ghost communication you can reject it in Jesus name and ask forgiveness easily
PS- to others reading this- The bible is not lost from "translations". The original source is still here today. In fact people can read it called Jews and Greeks.
There are a few other things also. I have some questions for you.

first of all you are a very brave woman for staying in that house, you have my respect! first of all i would look for a logical explanation, maybe someone is trying to prank you? or maybe the force of water in the taps sometimes is strong enough to turn handle round? although that wouldn't quite explain it turning off.. you should put up a video camera facing the sink and investigate and if all else fails, and you believe in that whole thing, i would suggest getting a man of the cloth to bless the house, if not i would sell the house and move in with a relative until you sell it and as extreme as that may sound you probably won't regret it, do you really wan't your 1 year old to grow up in a house with strange phenomenon going on?
good luck!

If you can repeat this occurrence with an independent validation, such as your local media, you can get a million dollars!
No one has ever proved any paranormal ability or event. The only thing we get are anecdotes and stories. That require us to accept your say so. Frankly, it is worthless. Like I said before, why even tell us but not tell people that live in your area? Friends, neighbors, the media. Also any possible suggestion would be just speculation.
If it can not be tested, it is not evidence.

I would assume you have Poltergeist. I'd start by letting them know that you are aware of them. It could also just be a plumbing and electrical problem. Old house maybe? I'd bet on Poltergeist though.

You, my lady, seem to have a spirit present in your household. It is hard for one on the interwebs to make sure whether or not it is a spirit, since we are not at your home.
But seriously, it's either a friend/family member acting as a ninja playing tricks on you or a ghost.
