Jenday Conure question. Please help!?

I got my conure yesterday and he has been a ball of energy and acting normal. Within the last half hour he has been sitting on the highest perch of his cage with all of his feathers fluffed. When I go near the cage he stands up tall and makes a "I'm mad" sort of noise. I have read that when Parrots fluff their feathers for a long period of time it's a signal they could be sick. I just fed him grapes and banana, and he hasn't eaten anything he's not supposed to. I'm a new bird owner, is this something they do often? He was fine and playful 30 minutes ago. What could be wrong?

Well its late , What happens when you are running around all day. by the end of the day you are tired . Now if you fear he has gotten into something he aut not , then By all means see a vet . I will say that I would be much more worried if he were on the lowest perch or the cage floor . all puffed up

Remember , he is not a machine ,,, birds need 12 hours of sleep a day .
