for NFS hot pursuit cant u free roam the city?

I haven't tried the free roam but to my knowledge the cops don't chase you in that mode, but you should play the hot pursuits anyway because they are way more fun, if you want to wander around a city and run away from the cops then go play grand theft auto, need for speed is a different animal altogether, and totally awesome once you get into it.

the game is kinda lame in a few ways like you cant buy cars, upgrade them or change them visually which is bs

there is also no story, its click something and race or whatever

and the career police challenge/racer things are pretty gay like going 8 miles in 2 minutes without hitting anything theres a bunch and its freaking annoying

but the online stuff is fun as hell though...like you and 3 other people are cops and you have to bust 4 racer people

or vice versa idk

but its nothing like most wanted...i wish it was though i loved that game i stil have it for the original xbox

ya u can free roam. Go to career, then select your car class, then push the Y button to choose ur car then go into free roam

You cannot free roam period. You basically select missions.
