Is my belly button pierced wrong?
Okay I got my belly button pierced today but I think the girl did it wrong or something. So if you have ur belly button pierced, from the top of ur belly button to the hole, what does that measure on a ruler. Mine looks like if I'd pull it it'd come out of my stomach. Kinda weird but can you help lol

My girlfriends is about a quarter of an inch from the measurement you described, however the deepness of the piercing is also relevant with what seems to be your concern. The overall length from the top hole to the bottom hole of her piercing is about half an inch.

You need to wait a couple of days.
Your belly button ring will probably sit on your stomach kind of funny, because you just stuck a big whole through your skin.
Not exactly normal for your body, so it will be irritated from it.
I got my belly button pierced last year and there isn't a ton of skin between the whole where the belly button ring goes in and my skin because that's how it's done because otherwise it wouldn't heal for a really long time or it would be too deep into your skin.
Give it a couple of days to relax and then see how it feels.

Don't pull it then! As long as it isn't causing you an excessive amount of pain, I would leave it alone until it heals. Everyones measurements are different, that is why you can buy different belly bar sizes, mine is a 10, but you can buy 8's and 12's. 8's are too nippy for me and 12's hang over a bit too much.

mine looks about a milimeter and a half. But mines healed. its supposed to look like that when you first get it pierced, but when it heals the scar tissue will make it thicker and it will look more normal.
Give it about 2 months and it'll look better.

im pretty sure its normal, it ddnt happen to me but it's happened to alot of my friends. Just dont irritate it and keep cleaning at as your piercer told you to. If you're really concerned, go back to the piercer and ask .. but it shouldnt really be a problem.
