Atheists: Can you prove God doesn't exist?
I always hear atheists going ''God does not exist''. Well, if you're 100 percent sure, prove it! Oh yes... I seem to recall you can't, and don't compare God to Santa Claus/unicorns, we know those things are fake.
Prove any sort of higher power didn't create the universe, and that it's a random, meaningless, naturally-occurring phenomena as you say.

Atheists technically don't have to prove anything. Atheism is true by default until somebody proves that a god exists. Nobody has done this.
Nonetheless, here's a proof about the nonexistence of Yahweh and Allah, in four paragraphs:
There's no reliable evidence for Jesus, God/Yahweh, Allah, Zeus, Thor, or any of the thousands of other gods that people have worshipped. There's also extensive evidence that they are all just myths, created to help soothe our fear of death, and perpetuated through religion to subjugate the underclass into obedience.
Science has shown that there's no need for gods to explain the traditional reasons for a god -- origin of the universe, origin of life, origin of species, origin of humans, origin of morality. Science also shows us the psychological reasons that people believe in god(s).
If a god like Yahweh or Allah existed there would be explicit evidence. No such evidence exists, therefore these gods do not exist.
Yahweh and Allah are also internally and externally incongruent, and thus cannot logically exist. An omnipotent and omniscient god with free will can't exist, because it could not both know the future and change it. An omnipotent and omnibenevolent god can't exist and allow the true horrors that occur to sentient beings.
For further evidence supporting these claims, see the 1st set of links.
People keep asking the question about the origin of the universe, probably because they haven't done their homework. The simple answer is that quantum mechanics shows that *Nothing* is less stable than *Something*. Positing a god to supposedly answer the question solves nothing. It just stops you from asking questions.
There are many well-respected physicists, such as Stephen Hawking, Lawrence Krauss, Sean M. Carroll, Victor Stenger, Michio Kaku, Robert A.J. Matthews, and Nobel laureate Frank Wilczek, who have created scientific models where the Big Bang and thus the entire universe could arise from nothing but quantum fluctuations of vacuum energy -- via natural processes.
I know that this doesn't make sense in our Newtonian experience, but it does in the realm of quantum mechanics and relativity. As Nobel laureate physicist Richard Feynman wrote, “The theory of quantum electrodynamics describes nature as absurd from the point of view of common sense. And it agrees fully with experiment. So I hope you can accept nature as she is — absurd.”

I see no need to "prove" ridiculous claims without a shred of supporting evidence are false.
Since there's no evidence to show they're true, they are worthless claims and should be ignored.
Tell you what, forget santa and unicorns and leprechauns (though the comparison IS valid).
You prove to me that Vishnu (one of the main gods in Hinduism, worshiped by billions of people) doesn't exist. Go ahead...I'll wait.
Oh, right, you can't. Does that mean Vishnu DOES exist? By your attempt at reasoning, it does. So why don't you worship Vishnu?
See how silly your backwards thinking is? You're the one claiming some god is real, the burden of proof is on you. It's up to you to provide evidence that your claim is valid, it's your claim. Since you can't provide anything but fallacious arguments from ignorance/incredulity and bare assertions, rational people dismiss your claim as worthless. If you don't know how the universe came to be, then you DON'T KNOW. You don't know if it happened naturally, and you don't know some magical claimed god did it. You've replaced "I don't know" with "a magical claimed god did it," without any supporting evidence. That's ridiculous.
Peace.

A higher power is not necessary for the universe to exist. We have a pretty good idea of how things came about, and no magic man in the sky is necessary.
Occam's razor. If no god is necessary, don't create one.
And LOL at the "don't compare God to Santa, those things are fake." I'm not sure if that's proof you're a troll or proof that you really didn't think that one through.

"I seem to recall you can't, and don't compare God to Santa Claus/unicorns, we know those things are fake."
As we know God is fake.

Hmmm... let me try a little experiment.
God, if you exist, strike me down with lightning this very instant. Vaporize me and prove to your followers you are real. If you do not strike me down with lightning in the next five minutes, you will be declaring to your followers you absolutely, 100% do not exist. Since you are perfect, and are always truthful with your followers, you must prevent this from happening to preserve their natural faith in you. Strike me down now!
The time is currently 11:42 AM PST. If there is no God to strike me down, I will edit my answer at 11:48. Let the experiment begin.
ADDENDUM:
The time is now 11:49 AM PST. I'm afraid the results of my experiment don't support the "all powerful God" hypothesis.
Let me guess, though. He will definitely smite me once I die... and a part of myself no one can see or identify or even prove exists is whisked away to a magical place where there are no witnesses. Then, when no one is looking, he'll smite me. Just as soon as no one can prove it happened, that's when it will happen. Right?

"don't compare God to Santa Claus/unicorns, we know those things are fake" - and we know god is fake...how is your 'knowledge' any more legitimate than ours? Positive claims require positive proof...the base assumption for existence of any given thing must be negative unless you are prepared to accept the possibility that ANYTHING might exist...which is sad for anyone above the age of 6.

WHAT? you mean that there are folkes that are dumb enouph to say God does not excest. I thank they will go strait to hadies. if God did not excest I would not be here, and have all these wanderfull thangs in my life. My goodness. Just look araoud at nature. People that would thank that way has a problem in there haed. maybe they are the ones that God said are feeble mindad.

How many times are you guys going to ask this silly question? How are we supposed to prove a negative??
All we can do as thinking beings is look at all the evidence (or lack thereof) in front of us, and weigh the possibilities. In the absence of evidence, the possibility of his non-existence carries far more weight than the concept that he exists but without any trace of his existence.
It's about probabilities.

How can you know that leprechauns are fake, but God isn't?
The burden of proof is on the one making extraordinary claims. That's you.
I don't *need* to prove that a higher power did NOT make the universe, because there is no evidence that it did. See how that works?
Prove the universe wasn't created from extradimensional unicorn farts. I'm waiting...

"I always hear atheists going ''God does not exist''. Well, if you're 100 percent sure, prove it!"
I never say that...Cause I am God.. I created everything.. So, you can't say that I am not unless you can prove it!.
So..I am your God now!!
