okay first of all you want to make the "y" negative in function form.
So, we would divide both sides by negative "-" which would equal:
Y= -5x - 15
Now to find the "x" intercept plug in "0" for y to find it.
To find the "y" intercept" plug in "0" for x to find it.
EDIT:
y =mx + b form is SLOPE INTERCEPT FORM, NOT STANDARD FORM!
You must have "y" be positive!

First off you never want your y to be negative so start by changing that to 5x-15= Y
Graph that function in your calculator and enter x at the value of 0 and that's one of your answers next set your Y2 = 0 and that's your second answer.

Ok, put it in line standard form. y = mx + b
y = -5x -15
Y intercept is when x = 0, Plug in 0 for x and solve
y = -5(0) -15
y = -15
X intercept is when Y = 0 Do the same for y
0 = -5x -15
15 = -5x
x = -3
So the X intercept is: (-3, 0) and the y intercept is (0, -15)

y intercept is -15 (because the y cant be negative so you have to change the whole problem)
X= -5

graph it on a calcular.
put in x and y values so it equals the same.
