Does Remington make Magazines for the 700 series rifle in .308?

I have heard they are not reliable in general, but someone must make good one's. Please advise and thank you. Or if you recomend not using that is fine, please say why!!!

    your best bet would be to get one of these conversion kits from Brownells I do not hear good things about the 770 Remington, detachable magazine rifle

    Your question is an odd one, if the Model 700 is chambered in 308 Remington makes extra mags that will fit it and they are dependable as any 700 out there. If you are going to try shooting 308 in a 30/06 your not being realistic and do not know much about guns in general. What the gun is chambered for is what you shoot in it; unless you want to risk hurting both the gun and your self: and that is the only reason a 308 clip would not feed right in any rifle that takes a clip/magazine.

    yes, but you would have to get a knock off and I would not recommend it for the 700. They jam, and some do not fit right.

    yes, here is a drop in upgrade as long as you already have the hinged floor plate style stock
