Do we really know if Satan is evil?
I mean, sure based on the biased word of the bible, (No offense) he is apparently evil. But for those who believe everything bad is his fault must be in denial. If God has everything oh-so-planned out, wouldn't the bad be his making? Sorry fort he details and the bitter tone, but I want to know if Satan really is evil.

In the Kalama Sutra, Buddha says.
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it..
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

The bible doesn't say or show Satan as evil. It shows him following God's instructions and doing the job of finding out who actually follows their religion and who just says so as long as it's easy.
Read the book of Job; everything Satan does is because God directly tells him it's okay.
The bible doesn't say the serpent in the garden of Eden is Satan. It doesn't say that the dragon in Revelation is Satan. It doesn't even say the anti-Christ is Satan. Those are matters of interpretation that some churches have come up with, because they want to believe that temptation and people falling away from their religion are evil, and because the church needed a boogeyman to scare people into converting & attending.

Satan is an Angel of God, and Angels, being beings not endowed with the human gift of free will, cannot disobey God- if he were able to, and if he were powerful enough to bring evil into this world, that would mean that he himself is God, but God is one, and God is all-powerful, therefore, he cannot be the lord of evil.

The satan according to the cult zombies idea of evil ... Cannot hold a candle to his/its creator ... The god of love the xian cultists worship. Even in their own holy book ... God does things that make Satan look like an amateur ...
They just ignore those sections of the bible. All the one's where the xian god is sadistically slaughtering and murdering ... torturing etc. Hey ... wonder why christian is another word for hypocrite huh ?
lol ... in case I havent made my feelings clear ... These cult zombies make me sick with their hypocrisy and ignorance. When I think about religious zombies I wanna puke. How people could be so ridiculous ... defies all reason. < I just threw up a lil in my mouth thinking about them.>

Satan has chosen to express evil.
In the Bible God specifically says He created evil. (You may notice He also paid the ultimate price.)
Source(s): Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. - hshuckhartLv 41 decade ago
Satan was created to take the blame for all the bad stuff that God was doing. He is a scape-goat, a patsy, a fall-guy...

yes. the fact you even ask this question is just confirmation of the Bible's veracity
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

From where did Satan come?
All of Jehovah’s works are perfect; he is not the author of unrighteousness; so he did not create anyone wicked. (Deut. 32:4; Ps. 5:4) The one who became Satan was originally a perfect spirit son of God. When saying that the Devil “did not stand fast in the truth,” Jesus indicated that at one time that one was “in the truth.” (John 8:44) But, as is true of all of God’s intelligent creatures, this spirit son was endowed with free will. He abused his freedom of choice, allowed feelings of self-importance to develop in his heart, began to crave worship that belonged only to God, and so enticed Adam and Eve to listen to him rather than obey God. Thus by his course of action he made himself Satan, which means “adversary.”—Jas. 1:14, 15;

I wouldn't take the word of someone who orders his followers to commit genocide and murder homosexuals, in fact it makes me wonder who the real Satan really would be if both did exist.

I don't see how he is any more or less evil than god, since god has the power to stop him and doesn't...hell, maybe god is WORSE. At least with satan, you know where you stand.
