Can you buy hot chocolate year round?

You can buy the mixes year round. They keep it in the section with the tea and coffee. Most convenience stores that have cappuccino machines usually have it year round too. With fast food places it's usually a winter item though.

Swiss Miss makes a large canister of the powdered hot cocoa mix, that can be added to water or milk, and has over 50 8-ounce prepared servings in it. This is typically available at any local Walmart, where if they do not stock this regularly, you can request the Grocery Manager to place an order for this, and they usually have it available within the week (all Walmart stores use the same suppliers, so if your store doesn't stock it now, ask, and they will start stocking it for you).

Another option that's always possible is to buy some good Dutch chocolate and mix it with hot milk and sugar. OR warm some milk in a small pot and melt in a bunch of cocolate chips until it's chocolate-y enough. Delish!

I have a recipe to where I can make it by the cup or by the bulk. Instant too. Here's the recipe:

24 c Powdered milk

10 c Sugar

10c creamer (powdered)

3 c Cocoa

You can break down accordingly to the storage space you have. The above full recipe,when stored, will fill 1 5 gallon oil jug half way.From there you can mix by the cup or by the pan.

when the chocolate mines are in full production yes, you will be able to get the raw ingredients.

unfortunately, during the summer months, the raw choc block become squishy and very difficult to mine economically.

oh, and, should they nationalise the mines, cadburys make it.. er no, cadbury did make it, now theyve sold it to kraft... ... and you can bet it wont taste the same.

Normally in stores they sell it year round its just harder to find. Id look in bigger stores like Walmart or Hyvee normally they have it year round. But some only sell the boxes with the packages of them.

i make hot chocolate with ghirardelli SWEET ground chocolate. im pretty sure its sold year round, i got it in summer.
