Your baby can use any brand pacifier and be just fine. The issue with pacifiers is older kids who use them 24/7. If you wean your child from the pacifier when they are 1 your child's teeth will be fine. It's when kids are still using them at 2, 3, 4, etc, that their teeth start to suffer.

You can brush your child's teeth and gums from birth... wipe down their gums with a wash cloth every night, then once a tooth comes in you can get those silicone brushes that fit over your finger so you can brush the tooth each night.

I like the Gerber Nuk ones personally...

Any. The stuff I have read says that pacifiers don't interfere with teeth development until 4 years old. The recommendation is if your 2 yr old still has one, take him/her to the dentist and ask their opinion of if it is bothering their teeth.

they are all fine but i prefer the soothie brand because they are one piece so no potential of the nippl e ever falling apart and causing a choking hazard. i ahve found some of the cutesy ones are not made very well.

Nook don't mess their teeth up at all but you probably want to break him by a year.
