How do age new cedar boards?

I want to add new boards to a table I was making last year.

I was told to use baking soda and peroxide on the new wood to match the old ones?

Anyone have any other ideas of what to do this? Please I do not know what to do! Thanks alot hugs!!

Put together and sand it all down...or.. vary the old with the new for a different look.
