Why does my kitten meow when we play like its unhappy or mad/scared but stillmoves its tail like its happy?
like my kitten will bite /wrestle my hand and then i will grab its 2 back legs which she doesn't seem to like ... and she lets out a screech / meow like shes mad or unhappy.... then when i let her go .... she runs to the end of my bed ... pauses ... wags her tail like its normal and then pounces my hand again.... ? is this just a phase or instinct or something that shes scared cuz shes still so young..... or is it bad... I think its funny/cute but I also don't wanna ruin my relationship with my kitten if it could seriously be affecting her mentality... Im also just trying to tuffin her up a little bit. Can you share your opinions / experiences please?
Also... sometimes she'll run away for a couple minutes but the come back to play or cuddle.... it doesn't seem to affect her but only scare her for the moment...
I guess i just wanna make sure im not hurtin her... thats not a sensitive area is it?
i dont buy the tail wagging / irratation thing because she does the same thing when im petting her a lot and she purrs a lot and tries to nuzzle my head and cuddle ( when hes very content)

You can actually read cats emotions.
Eyes:if it stares at you without blinking it either wants something or is being hostile.
Here I will just give you a link! :)

She's telling you to stop doing that. There are other ways to play with your kitten besides grabbing her back legs. She's a kitten, why are you trying to toughen her up?
It's not a sensitive area but instead of doing that, get some ribbon or a string and play with her that way. You CAN put her on her back and rub her belly, just don't play too rough. Kittens are hearty but they're not invincible!

your play methods sound like they are encouraging her to be aggressive. I wouldnt encourage a kitten to play attack hands, it may be cute now but could get annoying in the future. If you are grabbing its 2 back legs that is not appropriate and it's no wonder she's meowing like she's upset. Stop doing that.

her tail swishing is her telling you she is irritated or aggitated. She is getting mad. I would not pull her back legs, most cast will not tolerate that. Sometimes before a cat pounces you will see them move there tail back and forth across the ground, but not in the air, they don't want to alert there pray there coming.

Actually that tail wagging thing has been determined to be a sign of irritation that they do not like what your doing. Play with her with string or a little fake mouse or something.

Oh, wow. properly, you do no longer probably comprehend techniques cats artwork.... The toddler replaced into purring and meowing given which you WOKE HER UP! Haha. She replaced into napping, and you touched her. She's meowing to declare "ARhhhh! bypass awayyyy!!!" My cat does it each and all the time. they are in order that cute whilst they are napping, it fairly is complicated to no longer puppy them! ANd the older cat is extremely jealous. you on the instant at the instant are not doing the extra perfect superb ingredient...you will desire to be paying all your activity to the older cat! Your older one is feeling very distressed for this reason of latest addition, and now she seems such as you're betraying her for the "new teenager". you generally greet the older resident cat first, and not in any respect furnish the modern-day kitten activity in front of the older one. it fairly is mandatory to the two your courting with them, and their courting with one yet yet another. Your older one is now no longer likely to settle for the toddler, and you're transforming into considerable behavioral subject concerns to deal with... upload: The hissing is common. The older cat is installation dominance. you will desire to have saved preserving HER, no longer the kitten. One or 2 hisses is okay, it fairly is punctiliously common between a sparkling cat and a resident cat. And confident, as quickly as you woke her up, she meowed like loopy at you given which you have been surely bothering her. it fairly isn't probably any super subject, do no longer undertaking! you're merely bugging her whilst she's attempting to sleep. I do it each and all the time to my cats, haha. Rolling on her abdomen is punctiliously a demonstration of believe! She accepts you as her caregiver, and loves you! Awww. =) My cats try this too. once I by way of danger wake them up they get ticked off for a 2d, then be extensive wakeful it fairly is me (suitable giver of abdomen-rubs), and that they stretch and roll over. Haha. thoroughly common cat habit.
