Sausage and its ingredients?

After a bit of experimenting I've decided that it's the sausage that we eat on occaision that is causing both myself and my son to become lathargic, grumpy, fuzzy headed. Any suggestions on what ingredients/additives in sausage would cause that?

While it is often disguised now as "preservative" or "flavor enhance" MSG is a common additive to sausage that can cause a myriad of problems. I recommend finding a real butch3er to buy sausage from, or look for an organic product and check to see if you still have problems. If so you both may be allergic ot something as simple as pork fat...

Sounds like you are eating cannabis sausage!

My guess is that you have the sausage with large amounts of carbohydrates.

The only additives that are common to most sausages are large amounts of salt and tiny amounts of sodium nitrate or nitrite. If you want to eliminate those try naturally made sausages and lower salt sausages, or try making your own and see if it affects you. When you make your own you can make a small amount so you don't have to add any preservatives at all.
