Been doing a bit of research and can't find a specific answer to my question.

I have a ASL book which I really like to use with my students. I am in the process of creating some teacher-made printables and often share them with other teachers/parents to use for personal and classroom use. My question is, if I cite the book, can I use their ASL images without fear of running into copyright issues if I share them with others. (No selling involved.) Thanks for any insight!

I have a going on 5th grader that really needs to learn to type due to school assignments. However, we are with an online public school and they do not have a typing program. It's something we are going to have to do on our own. Any suggestions for typing programs that would work with 10-11 year olds?

I would like to incorporate more geography into my preschool program. I find that I can relate to home-schooling parents as my program is home-based and I find you all a fountain of information. So am also going to post my question in this section. I would love to hear what you have done with your preschool/Kindergarten child with regards to geography and the world around us. Thanks!

I really would like to do more with geography with my PreK students. I like the book "Me On The Map" by Joan Sweeney and am incorporating it this next week but I'd like to do more, especially this fall. Any tried and true ideas? For example, one thing I'm going to do next year is have a blank map of the U.S. and do a postcard swap with others from the states and we'll color the state in when we get a post card from that state. But there are so many aspects to geography. Would love to hear your ideas! Thanks!

After a bit of experimenting I've decided that it's the sausage that we eat on occaision that is causing both myself and my son to become lathargic, grumpy, fuzzy headed. Any suggestions on what ingredients/additives in sausage would cause that?

I've been in this field for quite some time so the basics...such as playdough...is being used. But I was wondering if there are tried and true hand strengthening activities you'd wish to share? I have a little guy in my program who does not care to write or work with small objects and truly I think it's because his hands tire out quickly. His grasp on scissors and any type of writing tool or toy is not firm at all and his confidence level is down because when he does try to use a writing tool the results don't meet his *expectations*. So any "new" ideas of how to strengthen those muscles in the hands? Thanks!!!

I am not looking for small group activities. I would like to know what your routine is. Do you have small group time? Is it all teacher directed? Do you have a rotation? Do you move from activity to activity as a group or can the children move on their own-choosing their own "work"? Thanks!

Please keep in mind that these children are preschool children (2.5yr-5 yrs). Open-ended projects are what I'm looking for the most. We "came upon" quite a bit of yarn and I would like some fresh ideas of how to use it in our classroom.
