What is wrong with my HP (G60-235DX) laptop?
I turned on my HP laptop not but 10 minutes ago; it booted up, I typed in the password and left the room for a few minutes to wait until it was fully running. The screen turned off, so I started to move around the mouse, but nothing happened. It says it's on (and I can see that it is by holding it up to the light) though the screen is clearly off. Is it that the internal light needs to be replaced/repaired? And if so, how much would it cost?

Edit: It isn't on the power down mode.

what percentage laptops with prompt coneection are operating on your community. carry yet another lapton that works in yet another position or carry your lapton to different prompt community that works, you'll discover what's incorrect. likely your ethernet cable from the modem to the router is defective, related to second question, definite, the speed will be slower with diverse connection, like driving automobile on a street, once you've this variety of great number of vehicles, you could not stress quick..

Try hitting the power button again. It may have gone to sleep. Personally, I hate HP's. Get a DELL next time.
