wiring kit for amp looks thin...?

i have a low powered amp http://www.crutchfield.com/p_023PCA460/Blaupunkt-P...

i got a 8 gauge wiring kit but it seems a little thinner then my old 8 gauge will it cause any damage?

and i will probably only use 2 channels for 1- 10" sub

    if you are only using 2 channels you will be fine.
