Solar panels. Al Gore's home is one of only 14 in the entire USA to receive LEED gold certification.

The large array are solar panels

Other than that, the smaller black and one white square isn't recognizeable at this distance.

Every room will have the basic same requirements for sewer pipe vents which will connect to all the sinks, bathtubs, showers, dish washers, etc., you may also see some smaller solar panels on peopel's roof tops specifically designed for one use....like the address number night, path lights, night lights, porch lights, battery charging systems for AA's, AAA's, C's, D's or 9 volt cells for various house hold use. One can never tell, there's a million different ways you can set up charging systems and a million little uses one could designate them for.

The white square is throwing me off though, I can only venture to guess..........maybe something to do with the laundry room ?

But for someone that thinks of himself as the "global warming" god, its interesting that he has such a limited use of solar panels when we've heard of his $10,000 utility bills.

Not to mention no other altnerative and eco friendly set ups.........like water collection systems attached to the roof, no apparent wind supplementation, I don't see a bio-gas,bio-diesel, wood-gas or any other alternative form set up for use. No bio reactor..........so I guess he's banking on his company ripping off the world on his carbon credit scams.

Solar panels representing an insignificant reduction of his massive carbon foot print.

The round things are vents from the dryer and bathrooms. My house has these too. How cool!

They are obviously solar panels. Even though Al Gore is not a scientist and only a messenger, it is good to see him setting an example.

Yes, Al Gore lives in a much bigger house than most people. Is there anything wrong with that or are denialists a bunch of socialists?

They installed solar panels on the roof a few years ago.

The satellite photos are obviously Photo Shopped. Everyone knows that Al Gore uses more electricity in that house than the entire city of Des Moines, Iowa...
