They did play for new years eve. But in Rockefeller Center, Alas i assume you tuned into the wrong channel, it was on NBC.

they placed carson daly, 3 songs total. na na na is up on youtube. the band didn't play times square they played at rockafeller center. they played na na na, sing, and ended with a small clip of them doing helena to finish off the night
i'm sure videos are going to pop on youtube so keep checking =]

They did twice. I only saw the end of the first song, but I think it was Na Na Na..... Then they just performed again a few minutes ago with the song SING
