The y intercept form is y=mx + c, where m is the slope and c a constant.
4x + 2y = 14
2y = 14-4x
y = 7-2x
y= -2x + 7

y=mx+c is the y-intercept form.This is so because if x=0, y=m*0+c
therefore y=c, i.e., the line cuts the y-axis at y=c because for y-axis x=0.
4x+2y=14
=>2y= -4x+14
=>y= -2x+7
Here you go.

y=-2x+7 is the answer.
answer teh follo. question
Reduce the following inequality:(answer will be in d1,v1,a1 on one side and d2,v2,a2 on the other side. t1 and t2 will not be present in the answer )
t1^2v^2+a2^2t2^4+2t1va2t2^2 <=(v-v2)^2 t2^2-2a2 d2t2^2
where
t1=(- (v1 - v) - âv^2 + v1^2 -2 vv1 - 2a1 d1 )/a1
Important point is that v^2 + v1^2 -2 vv1 - 2a1 d1 is in the square root in the above equation
and
t2 =(- (2a2t1 +v2 -v) -â (2a2t1 +v2 -v)^2 - a2 ( 2d2 +4v2t1 +4a2t1^2 ))/ a2
Important point is that (2a2t1 +v2 -v)^2 - a2 ( 2d2 +4v2t1 +4a2t1^2 is in the square root in the above equation
find
d1, v1, a1 (inequality relation to) d2, v2, a2
The following equations can be used to reduce the above inequality
a1t1^2 + (2v1 - 2v) t1+2d1 =0
a2t2^2 + t2(4a2t1 +2v2 -2v)+( 2d2 +4v2t1 +4a2t1^2 )=0
here a1 and a2 are the acc. of two objects(always positive)
v1 and v2 are the velocities of two objects
t1 and t2 are the time
v is the velocity of man.
Please reduce the inequality as early as possible and if find the solution then please mail me at pawan_intelligent88@yahoo.co.in

slope - int form is y = mx + b
2y = -4x + 14
y = -2x + 7
