  • Beckham is way past his prime now. The only leagues where he can still perform would be MLS and the Gulf leagues....

I really dont want to see Beckham coming back to the premier league as I think it would damage his reputation more than anything else. The name he has built up over the years playing for Man U, almost claming legendary status, would be destroyed if he comes back.

For one thing its gonna anger Man U supporters, as Tottenham, being a CL team now are in many ways a greater threat to Man U than even Liverpool are.

Secondly, theres no way he can keep up with the young guns of the Premier league anymore, and with the skilled players Tottenham has, he would be kept as a substitute for most of the matches.

i think of it is going to likely be a solid pass for each individual in contact, if spurs can get previous the Beckham circus. He is accustomed to he won't play week in and week out yet ought to nevertheless make the main of being lower back in guidance with a champions league area. He brings journey to the gang and ought to with any luck help Lennon along with his very final ball in. The fulham interest in the present day is evidence sufficient he desires help.

It seems believable for him to join Spurs on loan since his grandad was a fan of Spurs and he was a part of their school of excellence when he was a child so it would seem right for Beckham to join

I am most probably going to get shot down for this, but its my personal opinion. I honestly think that Beckham would be much better as a coach as opposed to a player now, the reason for this? he is ill fated with injuries, and in football years is now getting to that age when younger players will and can out perform him. Personally in football I think he is now over-rated and needs to move over and make way for younger more talented players.

Bizarre. He's too slow for Spurs style of play. He can only stand there and cross the ball, can't run past anyone. I think it's just to sell some shirts.

There is no point him playing for England again, as he won't make Euro 2012. He should retire with dignity.

Spurs need someone who can take penalties. Beckham isn't bad at spot kicks. Anyway if he joins, it will be as a memento to his Spurs loving grandad who died recently.

Redknapp has expressed an interest so looks like it depends on Galaxy. Everyone knew he was wasting his time going to MLS but he big-headedly believed his profile would raise interest in the US game, or was it all for the money?. Bit disrespectful to his club too every year he wants to spend pre-season in Europe when he should be resting.

i agree with angel wings, beckham should be a manager and not a player

i don't see the point of signing this over the hill show pony for a couple of months, who do we drop to accommodate him? we should not be wasting time with silly signings like this.
