Late to take a pill by half an hour can i get pregnant?

It is very unlikely. I am on the pill and have been for 2 years now and I recently just changed to a different make and have had sex, and I'm not pregnant either lol.

For most birth control pills, you have a 12 hour window to take your pill in and it will still be effective.

Anything after 12 hours would obviously increase your chances of conceiving.

If you forget to take a pill, take it as soon as you remember, even if that means your taking 2 pills on the same day.

I am normally VERY reliable with taking my pills, but this month I have missed taking 5 pills and had sex on only Thursday.

But I haven't got pregnant yet, so I highly doubt you will get pregnant for taking the pill half an hour late.

Most pill instructions are mostly the same. My instructions are actually on the pill packet itself! Then I have the big leaflet inside. :).

What pills are you on? It's worth looking the instructions up on the internet, if not read them again. :D.

I took the pill 12.30 hours late, and the latest you can be is 12 hours. I have been taking these pills for over 3 months and have not had a period since. I had unprotected sex 2 days ago. Is there a big chance I might get pregnant?

i think there would be a small chance, yes. You are safe for 12 hours and you went over that. Im sure its only a small chance. I got pregnant like this but that doesnt mean its common. I'd say your best bet is to get the morning after pill, just to be sure. It can be taken up to 72 hours after intercourse so you'd have to get it quick.

I'd say a half hour being late probably won't change anything. Just take tomorrows pill on time. There's always that 1% chance of failure, so just take a test when you are due for a period.

you will be fine..the pills have to have a rough guideline to go by but as long as you took it as soon as you remembered... i know a few women who have forgotten to take it over 3 days..! and had to double up to take them to catch up...

i doubt you will be pregnant very rare. if you have been on them for a while you will be fine..!

as long as you take it within 2 hours of the same time each day you should be fine...
