    It didn't affect him at all. The Madden curse is a bunch of B.S.

    The reason NFL players get hurt isn't because they appear on the cover of a video game, it's because football is a contact sport and ALL players who aren't punters and kickers get beaten to a pulp playing it. A "curse" isn't causing players to get hurt, it's just odds. If a person gets hit enough times by giant people who run really fast, odds are they're eventually going to get injured.

    the madden curse is a player gets injured and is forced to miss time due to injury. So, unless brees gets hurt in the playoffs the madden curse has not affected him. he hasn't had his best year but he has been pretty good still.
