Does this sound like a good plan for school?
I've been doing some research about colleges (I've ALWAYS known I wanted to be a veterinarian), and I've decided on Cornell University. So, my plan is to get my Bachelor's Degree at CALS (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences) which is based in Cornell, then enter the College of Veterinary Medicine. Does that sound like a good plan?

You do realize that going somewhere for undergrad doesn't guarantee acceptance into their vet school right? It's a common misconception so I just wanted to make sure. I have a couple of students in my class who did undergrad at Cornell and weren't accepted to their vet school. It's really up to you, vet schools don't put a lot of emphasis on the prestige of the undergrad institution you attended. They do look at it and consider it with the grades you made, but it isn't as important as having an overall high GPA and high GRE score. Personally, I went to a little private Christian university that no one has ever heard of, finished with a 3.8 GPA, and got into vet school. So if you are wanting to go to Cornell for undergrad based solely on the fact that you think it will help you get into vet school, I might say not the best idea. If you are wanting to go to Cornell for undergrad just because you like the school and would enjoy going there and believe you will make good grades, then it's a great plan! You have to do what makes you happy! Good luck with everything!

It sounds like a good plan however, Cornell is very prestigious Have a back up plan as far as your choice for school.

Go to a less prestigious undergrad school. It will be easier to get into Veterinary Medicine that way as your GPA will be higher. Going to a top undergrad school is best only if you do not plan to go to grad school.
