Is there any way to get the wep key off of a windows vista computer that it has been entered on?

When I go to Network properties all it shows is eight black dots. Where would the password be stored to keep the computer in the network? If it is encrypted where could I go to decrypt it? I'd rather not download anything unless absolutely necessary.

In Windows 7 there's a "Show Key" checkbox underneath it, not sure if it's in Vista due to UAC. Try logging in with an admin account and try.

no not legally.. and chances are if you download something you will get something with it that would not be worth the wep key either.. sorry but that is encryption and i am sure there are illegal ways of getting them but not worth the consequences in my humble opinion.. just get internet access and all is well with the world
