Obama is wrong when he says we are all equal, why is it so?

Socialism is nothing more than Communism in a hurry. Communism says everyone produces according to his ability and takes according to his need, and the government writes EVERYONE's paycheck. The problem is that the sales clerk works very hard, and the brain surgeon works very hard, but they both have the same needs... food, clothing, and shelter. The surgeon doesn't need the huge house and the fancy cars. So the sales clerk and the brain surgeon receive the same compensation for their work... and who wants to do all the work needed to BECOME a brain surgeon if there's no more reward than becoming a burger flipper?

BHO is saying that all men are created equal, and are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. That's in the Declaration of Independence, in case anyone gets upset by the religious imagery. That's probably what he means.

He means stuff like, we all had an equal chance to succeed. Sure, the clerk may not have had the same intelligence level, but he didn't work hard either. The lawyer surely didn't make it through law school without studying. You do have a point, but we can all succeed in life with hard work, which is what Obama probably means, but some people have a little less work to do.
