can you put a comma in the middle of a line in a poem?

    Personally, a poem that you are writing can have whatever you want in it. Now, if it takes away from getting your message across to your reader you might want to try and work around it, but your own poems shouldn't have to be perfect grammar wise (unless specified by a professor, etc.) This is just my opinion of course
