Is it normal for Ambien to make you sleep walk?
The last two times I took Ambien to help me me sleep, I slept walk. I never sleep walk. Is this a normal side effect?

Ambien can make you do strange things sometimes if you take it and don't go immediately to bed. If you're taking it and crawling into bed and you still sleep walk, then you need to stop taking it and call the doctor who prescribed it and tell him what's going on.

It depends on your definition of normal. It is a common side effect yes. If you are asking is it safe if you experience that side effect I would say no. You could hurt yourself badly.
