help with a collectible model village?

I have a 'Post Office' from a model village - it came as a set with paints to paint the plaster model yourself, and if you collected the other pieces it fitted together to make a complete village including the road and village green. They fitted together like a jigsaw almost. But I can't remember the name - can anyone supply the name?

PS I know it is not Lilliput lane, because Lilliput Lane pieces are already painted, and Lilliput Lane bases are relatively small. Mine are about 9 inches across on the base.

    I think you are looking for Dept. 56 villages -- there are several different sets depending on what you are interested in having.
