All die at the same time? That's all the same or next day. That's lots. Is everyone sleeping and not paying attention? That looks like Mass Extinction, when's our time?

The Birds!
Blame it all on fireworks, those nasty little bombs exploding in the air to the delight of many people celebrating the New Year. I think we have been doing this for years now, so why has this not happen before? Louisiana just happens to border Arkansas, so a few hundred out of the thousands that did die has no real merit, accept for the fact that they drop on the other side of the imaginary line. The U.S. does have underground silos in Arkansas and Nevada. There has been fireworks going off on the 4th of July, for longer periods of time, but it never scared any birds from their perch. It wasn't chemical. They would have never left the ground. So then, what could it have been, some new kind of "Shock-wave" to make them all disperse at the same time, but that wouldn't explain why they would fly into buildings. Get caught up into some wiring, but, not buildings, unless it was followed by some "Sound-wave". They do have limited sight at night, but, it's not as if they were inside a cave were it would be pitch black. It was during the time of a New Moon, but that still wouldn't make it pitch black and to say that they flew into each other be cause of the darkness would not be logical unless it was extreme panic (disperse) causing disorientation (flying into buildings & each other). The people that lived in the area never heard a thing until the birds were dropping on their roofs and such. They can't blame this one on "big Foot!" What do we have floating around out there, that we were able to produce the same incident in Sweden since they don't think highly of the U.S., anymore? That was just a test on a small creature.
Stay tuned in to preview next week's episode of "The Twilight Zone!"
PS - I didn't know about the fish - but, I would say the same thing, unless it's "Mother Nature" going through a change! I really doubt it because it would involve some kind of gas or chemical and some seismic activity - none which have been registered

The same thing arrived today in Sweden.
I'm French and I was looking for any explanation here.
I don't believe to the firework explanation. There are fireworks every year, and why also in Sweden ?
In France, we are paying attention and there's a theory concerning tests with a new weapon, but by which country ?

Nothing. If they all died from the identical reason then I might be worried, but as it's it's in general no more than a type of statistic cluster matters. Or things like this happen all the time, however the "news" has determined to center of attention on it for a whilst in an effort to get ratings. Nothing like enjoying for your fears to get you to stay glued to the tv or the internet.

What is going on?
Media sensationalism. Nothing more. There is nothing unusual about these bird and fish kills.
