Why Should Les Miles Want To Coach Michigan .....?
Les Miles won't bring Michigan a National Title in 5 years if he becomes the head coach.
... cause :
Michigan's problems are far bigger than Les Miles and his magic ...
Louisiana State pays him a huge amount of money so him leaving for the money isn't the issue.
What exactly will taking the Michigan job do for Les?
Thanks and thumbs up to all who answer ... just give me time to get back and red the answers.
Thanks for your answers everyone!

It would be a stupid move. Michigan is the new Notre Dame- a has been!
Source(s): Michigan brand better than LSU? In 1920, maybe! - Anonymous1 decade ago
Les Miles is from Ohio, he went to Michigan, and he began his coaching career at Michigan. Not only that, but the Michigan brand is much greater than the LSU brand. He could potentially earn more at UM than at LSU. The fans are just as loyal as in LSU. Not saying it would be a step up, but it definitely isn't a step down, and for Miles it may make a lot of sense.
@Auburn- Harbaugh is the primary target. But it's unlikely that he signs with Michigan.
@BamaAndy- You know, most of what you posted was idiocy.

I don't see Les leaving LSU. I don't see how Michigan would pass up Harbaugh if he is available. The guy did wonders at Stanford. He can get more talent at Michigan just on name alone.

Why leave the SEC, the premier conference in college football, for the cold climate of the overrated Big Ten. He is at a program that is stocked with fine football players and doesn't have the NCAA watching his every move like the Michigan program is experiencing.

Why would Michigan really want Les Miles? Yes, he won a national championship...with Nick Saban recruits. Since then, he hasn't exactly torn up the SEC. He's an overrated coach in an over recruiting conference. The SEC is gonna be screwed once the NCAA limits the number of recruits a team can bring in each season...look it up before your start.

I am not conscious of the truth that Les Miles has expressed an interest in taking the Michigan job. You can also simply attempt to read between the lines. Having said that, i'd prefer that the Michigan head teaching job be open to the best candidate to be had, no longer just to "Michigan guys". However, if I needed to pick between Les Miles and urban Cryer, i would take Les Miles. He does have that fire in him.

He is going to stay at LSU. Michigan is a mess and no one wants that job.

Because LSU Bleauxs.

LMAO@ BamaAndy, "doesn't have the NCAA watching his every move like the Michigan program is experiencing.". Now, that's REALLY funny coming from an SEC fan.
