Well milk helps neutralize the burn when you eat them so I suppose the same concept can be applied for skin. Weird I know but it may work. I have had that happen to me before with the eye burning from a jalapeno and I didn't have any milk to help it. I even made the mistake to scratch my nose and it got up there too. It was horrible and lasted for at least an hour, it was the worst.. But yea, hope I helped, good luck

    I just had this yesterday!

My husband cut a calcium liquid vitamin pill and I put the liquid on my fingers and skin, took an ibuprofen to reduce the swelling, and then after my shower, put cortisone cream, then lotion. The pain was gone in less than 1 hour!

Plus, I have slight eczema so the jalapeno juices got into the skin too. I highly recommend all the steps I've mentioned!

Try using a milk and water solution for it. Enzymes in the milk will keep it from stinging as bad, and the water will just make flushing both the milk and jalapeno easier. Try a 2 to 1 ratio for milk to water.

    Good luck! And feel better!

OUCH!YOU REALLY SHOULDNT PUT SOAP OR LOTION IN YOUR EYES EITHER!RINSE THEM WITH PURE WATER ONLY AND MAYBE SIT WITH A DAMP CLOTH OVER YOUR EYES FOR A WHILE.IT WILL STOP HURTING EVENTUALLY.
