is this the right car for me?
Im looking to buy a new used car for around 7000 to 8000. I've been looking at mercury grand marquis and the ford crown vic. I figure that sense I'm a bigger guy one of these would be good. So I guess I'm just looking for some feed back on these cars you know reliability, longevity ect.

An older American car would present an incredible amount of problems. Crossing your fingers that the car will start will certainly get old! Consider a Japanese car like the Honda Civic or the Toyota Camry. Boring, I know, but there's not much excitement in that price range.
