Optimum Nutrition is my go-to supplement supplier. All of their products have been great. You need a whey protein for post workout recovery. I recommend 100% whey because it is a great 24g protein/scoop builder with a ton of branch chain amino acids. Also, you need additional BCAA's and L-Glutamine for muscle development and maintenance.

Creatine is a whole other level, but it can be safe if done properly. I enjoy creatine in capsule form because generally the powders are all gross. Take the suggested dosage around your workouts and drink as much water as possible. Water intake is essential for creatine supplementation.

Other than that, find motivation and train hard

Wouldn't worry too much on gimmick supps, money is much better spent on food, go stock up on a decent cut of steak and load of chicken. make sure youre getting your veg too. if you are gonna buy supps all you need is some whey protein any brand wouldnt worry too much take it after workout and inbetween meals and a good multivitamin.

good luck with your lifting goals 2011.

    Regards,

I have found that the best place for this sort of information can be found at Muscle Gain Supplements

Read some of the reviews here, they should answer your question.

It's also of note, studies have shown that creatine monohydrate (versus other types of creatine) is the best.
