Shame on you, Dhoni, being the captain of No:1 team, you were afraid to chase!!!!?

Kapil Dev chased 340 runs by Aussies CAPTAINED by Border in Kanpur Test in the 80s & the test was ended as "A HISTORIC TIE".You tried to keep Dravid in team( a toothless & blind LION) by sending him at 1 down. Needless to say, you are a "c....rd".Trillons of Indians were clapping when Dravid got out. A 3rd grade spinner called Harris got 17 maidens out of 26 with your blessings. Why didn't you send Bhajji & young gun like Pujara to gear up!!! Go & complete your ads.

First of all, you better learn your history. The historic tie took place in Chennai. That SELFISH MORON, RAVI SHASTRI darted for a single and exposed MANINDER SINGH, who eventually got out plumb in front. Ravi Shastri did not have belief in his own ability as a batsman to score 2 runs to guide India to a victory. Imagine had that happened yesterday with Sachin/Laxman/Dravid/Pujara/Dhoni exposing Sreesanth and match ends in a Tie ?

Kapil's team was able to chase 340+ only because the Aussies had a mediocre bowling attack. McDermott was their leading bowler and he is nowhere near the top of any historical lists. India was playing in home conditions with the pitch still favouring the batsman. I know what I am talking about because I saw this match at Chepauk.

The conditions in Cape Town, South Africa are alien. Dale & Morkel are the #1 bowling partners in World Cricket right now. The conditions were not so good for batting. Morne, Dale and even Tsosobe was able to generate bounce from the track. Even though Paul Harris is a mediocre spinner, he was lucky to have rough patches that he could use.

India lost its golden opportunity to Win because of ISHANTH SHARMA and Dhoni's poor captaincy when S.A was 130/6 in their 2nd innings. Ishanth is not only ugly, but also totally useless. I knew KKR was stupid to pay almost a million $$$s for this bloke, but even I did not expect I Sharma to be totally useless in the most favorable conditions.

Sometimes it is better to fight it out and save a Test match and thus the series. It is commendable that India played out an entire day of cricket to save the match. The last time India played at Cape Town in 2007, it 1-1 in the series, and India had one of those inexplicable collapses that cost us that series 1-2.

1-1 Draw is more than enough. With Sehwag had a niggle and Gambir not fully fit, Dravid out of form, Pujara very very new to this conditions. India did fairly well to finish the series with a draw. I think your more of an anti indian fan

Not true. India was the first country to chase and win a 4th innings score of 400+.

Against England they successfully chased 387 runs on the 5th day.

Today the weather is not favorable to the bowlers and both Steyn and Morkel, therefore, concentrated on a line far away from off stump. They were afraid if the bowled the stump line they would be smashed all around the park as Sewag had shown in his brief stay at the crease.

Indian approach was totally defeatist. They should have tried to play positive cricket. Such great batsmanship is for what ? It was a pathetic display of selfishness at the cost of the spirit of the game. Down with Dhoni, Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar and Laxman. Only Harbhajan played like a champion.

test cricket is not for brainless folks like you or nalaka. The t20's and odi's are coming up. I'm sure u would love watching the likes of Yusuf Pathan bat. Similar to the way nalaka howls and jumps when the "classy" T.M.Dilshan scores runs off sweep shots against fast bowlers in t20's. Good Luck!!

Cool down. It wasn't that easy. However, I agree that Indians (that includes Tendulkar also) were way toooooo defensive in batting of 4th innings. Better safe than sorry.
