Do people take tough and low paying jobs as a matter of choice or are forced into it due to situations?
Take sewage disposal workers, who have to deal with clearing human faeces for proper waste disposal, or the coal mine workers who need to tolerate extreme heat and physical pain.
Do these people take such jobs out of personal choice?, or they take them because of poor financial conditions/no formal education?
Mind you even though such jobs look terrible, they are very important to be performed for our society to function in a balanced way.

2 AnswersCorporations7 years agoDo people see demigods during very deep meditation?
I've read a bit about Kundalini Yoga. People say that in the initial phases we see bright lights and if we go a step further in meditation, one can see demigods and apsaras.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoSmoke or dust coming out of vents while tilting my laptop in right direction. Why is it happening?
Recently I've observed that when I tilt my laptop towards the right side, the vents from the left release a very small amount of dusty or smoky particles for few seconds with that "crick crick" sound. There is no burning smell yet, and the fan is not making any noise.
Is my laptop safe and can go on for a year at least? Or is there some major technical issue?
Please help.

1 AnswerMen's Health8 years agoA question on Varah avatar of Lord Vishnu for people who understand Vedic kowledge?
I read a story from Srimad Bhagavatam. It seems that the demon Hiranyakasha (brother of Hiranyakashipu), took the planet Earth OUT of its orbit!!!, and then tried to hide it in the Causal Ocean. Then came the Varah avatar and it sent the Earth back into it's orbit, later following it by killing the demon Hiranyakasha.
Did this really happen in the past? I know some ignorant people will bluntly call me a fool and ask me to be rational, but ignorance itself is the biggest hindrance to creativity and science, just like once people believed Classical Physics to be absolute before Einstein changed it completely.
If this incident is true, then the people of Satya Yuga were freaks! and Kali Yuga is surely the most boring era where people have no spiritual powers and only material powers.
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality8 years agoI've been running everyday non stop for 4 kms followed by 200 metre sprint. Will this cause arthritis?
I've been following this routine since a month and I'm afraid I can risk myself getting arthritis.
I'm 22 years old, and my mother has arthritis (genetic).
4 AnswersRunning8 years agoHow do Indians know how God looks like?
No, I'm definitely not questioning the existence of God. But I've seen examples like Lord Brahma sitting on Lotus flower with 3 heads and meditating and Lord Vishnu being covered by serpents, meditating at Garbodhak Ocean.
I mean, if God is formless, how do they know their physical features?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoI have accidentally re used bisleri plastic bottles for over 4 months. Is my health in danger?
I have been using a mineral water plastic bottle for over 4 months and have noticed recently that the inner layer of the bottle has turned green. I didn't pay much attention to it until one of my friends told me about that it can cause cancer as mentioned here - http://www.medimanage.com/my-diet/articl%E2%80%A6
Do I need to consult a doctor to see whether I have cancer symptoms or not?

India drawing in SA, Aus losing Ashes, India winning the WC, India getting 4-0 pounding in England, Aus 47 all out!!! and last but not the least England becoming number one in Tests!!! they deserve it the LEAST....

He's twice as good as Steyn, and I'm not exaggerating...
8 AnswersCricket1 decade agoTop 5 World Cup matches of all time?
Here's what I think....
1.) Australia vs South Africa 1999 World Cup semi-final.
2.) India vs Pakistan 2003 World Cup at Centurion.
3.)India vs Pakistan 1996 World Cup, when India needed 30 runs to win in 2 overs ,Jadeja hammered Waqar Younis in last 2 overs giving India a win...
4.)India vs West Indies 1983 World Cup final. Defending 183 against Richards and co.
5.)India vs England, recent game.
5 AnswersCricket1 decade agoIs Champion's Trophy a better format than the World Cup....?
I will have to wait for 2 weeks more before India vs South Africa begins....(:
World Cup is great, but the games against associate nations is making it too long and boring.....
5 AnswersCricket1 decade agoWhen was the last time you saw a 'DOMINATING' performance from Indian pacers...?
Well, for me it would be the Perth Test match. Where RP Singh and Ishant Sharma were swinging it both ways at a fiery pace of 150 kmph....Even the titans of the game - Ponting, Hayden and Gilchrist found this extremely hard to deal with, eventually they lost......
I hope that Indian bowlers perform well in games ahead after disasterous bowling yesterday.....Rarely get to see top notch bowling from this team...(:.
5 AnswersCricket1 decade agoGreat to see Australia making a comeback....Thoughts!!!?
It became a bit boring when Austraia were getting pounded monotonously first by India 2-0 and then by England 3-1......Now when Australia has made a comeback, cricket is interesting again and I'm hoping them to play some top quality cricket in the upcoming World Cup....Except against India, lol.....
And btw aren't England being overhyped for the World Cup??? Mind you, they are a very dangerous Test side but same can't be said about their performance in ODI's....I still take India, SA , Australia and Sri Lanka for World Cup semi-finals......
