What can we do instead of a baby shower?

You can always like after the baby is born have a get together, as in a barbeque or something like that. Just to celebrate the baby's birth. And everyone can bring something for the baby. Probably lots and lots of diapers seeing as she will have two babies in diapers for a while!!!

Have a low-key "meet the baby" party when the newborn is 2-3 months old. This will acknowledge and celebrate the new baby and allow the parents to show the baby off. Don't do it too soon after birth since babies are to be kept sheltered for a couple of months to keep them from getting sick too soon.

I had a party for my brother's baby called Welcome baby Enzo. It was Baby Disney themed. In Essence it's kind of like a baby shower but after the baby is born and is like 5 or 6 months old. That way the friends and family get to see the new baby. The only reason I had the party after he was born is because he lives out of state so we couldn't do it before.

You could still have it to be themed related. If it's a boy you can have the monkey theme. I created a post with a whole bunch of monkey themed ideas to have fun at a shower and maybe you can adapt it to your "Welcome Baby" party if you choose to have one.

Just do another baby shower! who cares if it's too soon. When a new baby is coming the parents need all the help they can get. Just make it more interesting and fun... like thow music in there and do something different instead of games... ya know.

We had a baby shower for the women in our life and a Daddy Diaper Party for the men. We suggested different sizes of diapers for each invitee to bring when we sent out the invitations.

Myself, mom, and sisters were the only women who attended the diaper party and we basically "served" the men food and drinks while they played cards, dominoes, and watched football. They really enjoyed themselves, and we were able to stock up on diapers at the same time!
