Atheists: can we all please pretend to believe in Power Balance Bracelets so athletes don't feel like morons?

We wouldn't want them to feel bad for believing in something that isn't real, would we? http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/post/Makers-of-power...

Nah, the schadenfreude in me refuses to do it. Most athletes and celebrities deserve every ounce of ridicule they get for their anencephalic behavior.

They are just another play of the old Q-Ray bracelets that were sold since the 70's.

Another scam to take the money of weak minded people. sort like the collection plate scam.

I didn't even know what a Power Balance bracelet was until now. After looking into it, it appears to be a bunch of rubbish to begin with.

Power Balance Bracelets were created by an atheist. No kidding, look it up.

No. They should feel like they've been scammed because they...well...have been scammed. Stupidity should not be rewarded. That's how we end up with fundamentalists who think they have a right to force their belief on other people.

Oh dear...I'm afraid I'll have to pretend to believe in, or at least tolerate them, darling...because once certain right-wing celebrities start wearing them, my mom will buy some.

Three guesses what I'll be getting for Christmas next year...

I thought it was a Universal Law that anything that expensive, with such little substance, was guaranteed to work.

    I mean, look at Religion...
