My jeans didn't bleach bight white?
I have a pair of old jeans I put in a bucket of warm water with a lot of bleach. I let them sit over night and they only faded a little but the seems turned bight white. Am I skipping a step? I'm washing them in hot water with bleach now to try and even them out. Help would be appreciated.

Overnight is not long enough, it will take quite a few days, maybe even longer to get them to white, I've done it myself.
Red is the strongest pigment, so don't get dismayed if they are white with a marbly red pattern, just keep bleaching!
