How do you pull off a short-sleeved oxford?

Help! I am a college student going to a party tonight, at which everyone is expected to wear pink. I didn't have any pink clothes (I know, I know my wardrobe is lacking) and the only thing I could find worth buying was a short-sleeve oxford shirt. The fit is passable for the amount I intend to use it, but I have no idea how to pull it off.

I was thinking maybe with jeans, and possibly a navy blazer and/or bowtie, but I'm not sure if that would be too tacky considering the sleeves are short and it's winter time.

What do I do??
