NJ fast food workers--what is your starting wage?
Just trying to get some general info about average minimum wages and/or starting salaries. Thanks!
For instance, anyone on here (living in NJ) work at McDonald's? Subway? Pizza Hut? What do you make?
Can't anyone answer this question intelligently? I'm just curious as to what kind of money these workers earn. I'm trying to settle a disagreement with my husband. He seems to think that since the cost of living is so much higher up there, they'd make more as a starting wage. I think they'd start out at $7.25 an hour, which is the federal minimum wage.

fast food = minimum wage wherever you go. When you have a mindless job that a trained monkey could do....there is no reason to be paid more than that.
