How do I send a picture via bluetooth on my phone to my Mac?

Alright. So on my old computer, I could send pictures and videos back and forth between my phone and mac, but since I got a new one, I can only send pictures from my computer to my phone. What do I need to do to be able to send them from my phone to my computer?

okie, so i'm assuming you're not using an iPhone, since if you DID have an iPhone, it'd just be a matter of syncing your iPhone to your Mac. ;O

well anyway, from what i've went through, it's practically impossible (if not entirely) to send stuff FROM a phone to a Mac. What you CAN do is use your Mac instead to browse your phone's contents.

So to do this, you might want to turn on the Bluetooth radio in your phone first. :)

Ok, now you could go back to your Mac and go to

[System Preferences] > [Internet & Wireless] Bluetooth

... and make your life easier by checking the box which says "Show Bluetooth status in the menu bar"

Ok, so now you can close that window and click the Bluetooth Icon thingy on your UpperScreenTray (whatever they call it).

    Upon clicking, choose "Browse Device..."

Now your phone's Bluetooth radio should be on now, so wait for a bit, and you'll probably see something like

    01-3a-2c-q3-9y

or something like it. It depends on your phone so just wait for the name of your phone to load in the screen. (You can set the bluetooth name in your phone you know).

So there, once your Mac finds your phone, there are a couple of other steps to do, which is mostly just pairing the phone and the Mac so you can seamlessly send and receive files to and from the phone and the Mac. Just set your Mac as Authorized in your phone so you can keep sending stuff (and copying stuff) from your phone.

And that's it. You can always go online and look for a forum if this doesn't work.

    Keep trying! ;)
