Teens ONLY.What's the youngest age you was left alone at home?

I was 9.

My mom trusted me and let me but I was only home for about an hour.

It wasn't until the next year that I was able to stay for longer but that was mostly because

the babysitter who's house I stayed at after school stopped doing that.

I was 9/10 years old. It wasn't scary at all because I was with my little sister. Nothing unusual happened. But i have the same problem after watching horror movies. I dont want to be left alone even when I have a shower/bath. Learn to love the dark. Dont think of it as a bad thing, make night time like a good memory in your mind where you think about cuddling in a blanket and watching some good (not horror)movies with your friends. Or spend a very long time in the dark. No light, and just make it by yourself, eventually you'll get use to it. Idk if you sleep with a light at night or not, but every night dont use a light, and try this every night. Try to get use to it.

I was left home alone starting at a really young age. I was about 6 when I was first left alone. I wasn't really scared, I just sat around and watched TV the whole time. My dad had to take my brother to a doctors appointment or something, and I ended up being alone for 5 or 6 hours.

When I was four was the first time I was home without an adult, my brother who was 6 at the time was there with me.

I was left at home alone when I was 9, but that was because I was sick and my parents both had to work that day. Being the oldest it was ok for my parents, but 9 isn't very old at all so I just stayed inside all day until 2 when I walked down to the bus stop down the street to get my then 6-year-old sister. Luckily I lived in an apartment complex, so it wasn't like I was roaming the streets; I just walked past 2 buildings to get my sister.

I'm 14 now.

I wasn't allowed to be left alone until i was 14. I don't mind being at home during the day, but at night time i just feel a bit lonely. Plus i have the responsibility of cooking for myself and that's a complete disaster so i end up starving then, i have to look after the cats and do thier food and there is 6 of em.

I was 11, I wasn't scared I just watched TV and ate some snacks.

The first time I was left alone overnight I was 14 and I was only scared when I turned off all the lights before going up stairs, but that still freaks me out lol.

I moved out at 16 so by now I'm used to be alone, but I'm mostly with my boyfriend.

Well when I was 6 or 7 and if I was playing outside with my friends when my dad wanted to go to Blockbuster for a lil bit, I was able to stay outside, and if my friends went in I just went inside my house. But I had a big mean dog, so I guess if people came in Kojak would protect me.

But actually staying home alone was about 4th or 5th grade when my parents were at work and I had to walk home and stay there for a few hours. I pretty much just watch TV till someone got home.. I wasn't allowed to go outside with my friends when no one else was home. I wasn't scared. Nothing unusual happened.

Like 8 or 9

When i was 10 my mom would let me stay home for like 20 - 30 minutes at a time by myself.

When i was 12 i could be left alone for a couple hours.
