    Hi there.

May resorts offer desinations weddings, as well as some cruise lines. The determining factors will be your choices. Where are you coming from? What budget, per person, did you have in mind? How many people? How long? Does everone have a valid passport? What do you like to do? How long will the family remain with you at the resort? etc.

Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple places that'll give you a wedding, for a three night stay, and some will even throw in the room if you book enough rooms for a few days (typically three).

The "WHTI" (google it) would allow you to cruise from the U.S., returning to the U.S., if passports are a problem....... and..... of course, we have the U.S.V.I. and Puerto Rice where no passports are required.

Be glad to help. Let me know.

    Joe

PS - I like Mexico and Barbados myself................

  • Hi, Cuba and Bahamas are not for you if you want all inclusives as Atlantas and a couple others are your only choices. However if you want to consider the DR or Mexico or Jamaica, then there are a lot of choices. I recommend you pick a place with the most direct flights possible for you and your guests.

Remember that destination weddings at the beach is all about you, instead of all the medium important guests you are not inviting to go, so be creative and have fun with it, you wont regret it. I am in resorts constantly and I can tell you the many weddings going on are always happy events, not the stressed out crazy hurry up and have fun affairs like in a traditional place of worship setting.

    Good luck,
