What is the best car audio brand in your opinion?

Just wondering what I should get in my car. Also, give your favorite model. This includes subwoofers and amplifiers! Thanks!

Brands that are reputable for making long-lasting and efficient products are listed in the following categories:

Amp: JL Audio, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Hifonics, Alpine, Infinity, Polk Audio, Boston Acoustics, Pioneer*, Cerwin-Vega, Orion.

Speaker: Focal, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, Infinity, Alpine, Cerwin-Vega, Boston Acoustics, Kenwood, Hifonics, Polk Audio, Orion, Pioneer*.

Subwoofer: Fi, JL Audio, Focal, Alpine, Kicker, Cerwin-Vega, Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer*, Hifonics, Infinity, Kenwood.

OEM Processors: Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Kicker, Hifonics.

Wire & RCA Cables: Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Monster.

Also, stick with name brand companies that follow the AWG system.

    Head Unit: Alpine**, Pioneer*, Kenwood.

The only place I recommend to buy any of these products are Crutchfield.com and the actual company's homepage that makes the products so you can get your warranty with the product.

*Pioneer has their basic line, their Premier line, and also their high-quality “Stage 4” line, just to mention a few.

**Alpine has the new “Imprint” technology that enables the head-unit, through the use of an aftermarket accessory kit, to fine-tune your head-unit and speakers to make the sound as accurate as possible.

I run a mid level system, but to the average person it hits really freaking hard. This is what I have and it is because they are my favorite.

    Amp: JL slash series 1000

Subs: 2 alpine type r 12's, new models

Door speakers: Alpine type r component 6.5's

Tweeters: Alpine and Boss 250 watt tweeters (cheap tweeters but they will bust your ear drums)

Here's a video of it all if you care to see it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FOeN_IF528

Just skip to 6 minutes, this hits dang hard and it's in a open top Jeep

KENWOODs are cheap and very reliable they are tuff and they look nice for sub woofers. for head units i would go with pioneer they make the best head units.

    Good luck : )
