I've seen Tora Tora Tora like once and a half times and I can say with almost 100% certainty that no part of that movie was directed by Kurosawa. I didn't know all that back story that Kurosawa and Lean were originally suppose to do it, that would have been a totally awesome movie if they would have done it. Instead the movie looks like it was directed by a special effects guy, and I have always thought of that movie as just another what ever special effects extravaganza.

Tora! Tora! Tora! ('tora' is jap for 'tiger') is relatively terrific categorized as a semi-documentary. mutually as actors performed countless roles, it restrained itself to the relatively events, not interpolating something like a learn of relationships between conflict acquaintances or romance, unlike many different movies that use the attack on Pearl Harbor as, somewhat, a backdrop. It probably incorporates greater 'not ordinary' historic previous than any action picture i will think of of on the subject of this actual adventure. remember, too, that movies which contain From right here to Eternity, In harm's way, and Pearl Harbor have been regularly interested in telling a tale from a definite point of view, and that the fictional characters are, as a result, the main substantial concentration of the story.
