As a Catholic I'm hoping they understand the reverence we have for such items & not just answer with some canned response about morbid fascination or other idiocy.

Source(s): 2 Kings 13:21 "And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet."

There are more things than just Bones that are relics.

I suggest doing an internet search for the Holy Prepuce

They serve as a link between the not-so-holy faithful and those who committed their lives to the service of God that became saints. In Catholicism and Orthodoxy, the faithful--even the saints of antiquity--do not asume that we have enough righteousness to come face to face with God alone, but rather rely on one another to assist us in our spiritual journey

Absolutely none; Relics went out with the dark ages, indulgences went the same way too.
