Is there a way to prevent a certain number from being called from my landline phone?
My 13 year old niece is now living with us (her mother is in jail and her father decided to live in a vodka bottle) and I need to see if there is a way to keep her from contacting her mother's boyfriend who is into drugs.

To be honest, shes thirteen so if she wants to call him she'll always find away. Its typical teenager stuff. but you could probably sit her down and explain why you dont want her to call him, or come to some sort of agreement. but completely banning her is gonna cause her to rebel

As well as the above answer, you could ask your provider to supply you with a pin number to use before you dial out. I have done this on my phone in the past.

Keep phones away from her. I dont think you can actually stop a number on your phone from being rang. All you can do is dont answer his calls and stop her from ringing him, involving punishment if doing so!!

you need to call your phone service provider to have a number blocked then i would recommending adding caller id and caller id blocker (makes your number shown as unkown when called with)
