What are the advantages of having a NTUC fairprice membership?
Everytime I go, they ask me it I have a card but what is the benefit of getting one. No, I don't want the stuff they tell me -- I want to know from real users. Is it worth applying for it. I'll be living in Singapore fore five years.

What I mainly use the membership for is to accumulate NTUC Link-Points every time I shop at NTUC (have to buy more than $20 at each time to accumulate points). These points will work as cash rebates for your next shopping trip at NTUC. For e.g. some can accumulate to deduct a few dollars from their groceries.
The membership also allows one to book the NTUC Downtown East Chalet. If you're going to book a chalet, you should go for it as it's available only to NTUC members I think.
